Not really. Deleted data is usually not really gone. It can be easily recovered by anyone with a little knowledge of data recovery and a free app you can get online. Only by overwriting the sectors containing the data can you make it harder to recover. Even then, there are ways to recover the data. That’s why we use the method recommended by the US Department of Defense to scrub data storage devices.
Yes! We DO recycle: desktop computers, laptop computers, tablets, printers, lcd monitors, phones, e-readers, mp3 players, computer components, stereo components, cables, network switches and routers, and some other electrical devices. We DO NOT recycle either large or small kitchen appliances or CRT monitors. We also don’t accept batteries or battery backup devices. If you’re not sure, just ask!
Unfortunately, No. Once the equipment is relinquished to us, the destruction and recycling process starts immediately. You’ll need to sign our recycling terms form that specifies this. Once the equipment leaves you, the equipment is considered gone for good.
We can usually pickup your computers, printers, mobile devices and monitors for recycling within 48 hours. Larger loads may take a bit longer.
